Description
The SPD-20HP is a thermally protected Surge Protective Device (SPD) specifically engineered for use in outdoor and commercial LED lighting fixtures, providing reliable protection against transient overvoltage. Utilizing advanced thermally protected varistor technology, it features a built-in thermal disconnect function that adds an extra layer of safety, preventing catastrophic failure and fire hazards, even under extreme conditions such as varistor end-of-life or sustained overvoltage.
The SPD-20HP stands out with its exceptionally low Measured Limiting Voltage (MLV) and Voltage Protection Level (UP), offering more coordinated surge protection with a wider range of LED drivers than other SPDs. This lower clamping voltage not only enhances protection but also helps extend the lifespan of the luminaires. Additionally, the device includes an integrated LED indicator that signals when the module needs replacement, ensuring continuous protection and optimal performance.
